Introduction to Poma
Designing everyday essentials that travel as well as you do.
Design, quality and how our products are made.
Concept and industrial design are led from Cape Town, South Africa. This is where form and function are balanced to create products that look as good as they perform.
We are partnered with experienced contract manufacturers in Shenzhen, China, that use industry-leading equipment and rigorous testing. This lets us achieve global quality and safety standards while benefiting from the efficiencies of large-scale production.
Our products are proprietary to Poma Lifestyle Ltd and are produced in compliance with applicable industry standards and local regulations. We protect our innovations under international intellectual-property treaties. We are proud to conform to all relevant environmental protection and recycling regulations wherever we distribute directly.
Every item is presented in a stylish, retail-optimised gift box designed to work equally well on shelf or in a vertical display - it can even be used at home for storage after purchase. This might be a small detail, but it is one that has earned repeated positive feedback from customers and retailers.

Global reach, fulfilment, and our recent journey.
Poma is structured for international growth. Following a strategic corporate restructuring in May 2024, the company was established as Poma Lifestyle Ltd to support wider distribution and partnerships. In early 2024 our founding team was joined by new leadership with deep experience in manufacturing and product development, and in June 2025 we started accelerating expansion and increasing distribution. New board members bring additional operational and market expertise to guide that growth.
On the ground, we operate with strategically located warehousing and modern, automated logistics systems in partnership with major carriers. Our ERP-driven fulfilment offers flexible delivery options for both individual customers and business partners — prioritising the delivery times, prices and speeds our customers prefer. Typical global lead time for direct consumer orders is three to seven business days; larger B2B shipments are negotiated to match volume and timing requirements.
